Last week the Summer 2015 issue of In Trust magazine landed in the mailboxes of people affiliated with the In Trust Center's member schools. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Where in the world is John Wesley?” Asbury Theological Seminary used a custom-made John Wesley doll to increase connections with alumni and donors, as well as raise funds — to great effect.
  • Nourish friends, raise funds.” Pontifical College Josephinum took a closer look at its fundraising events to assess their impact on its mission. The result was that abandonment of a few old ones, as well as the addition of some new.
  • Historic seminary leverages land, sheds debt.” New Brunswick Theological Seminary sold part of its historic campus but added a new building that better matches the needs of its student body — and the surrounding community as well.
  • The great experiment.” Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary is launching tuition-free master's programs. Here's how they're doing it.
