Not conservative or progressive, but Christian in the public square
First, they have the best theme song. Then, hosts Justin Giboney and Chris Butler provide “in-depth political analysis from a Christian worldview,” on topics such as “Democrats can’t rely on the Black Church anymore,” and “Trump Assembles his Team.” The show drops regularly so topics are current and interesting.

Hosts Josh Burtram (the “Faithful Host”), who is a pastor and a Republican, and Will Wright (the “Politics Host”) who is a Democrat and political enthusiast, explore the news of the day in faith and politics. Promising “respectful dialogue,” the hosts attempt to explore important issues in a balanced, thoughtful way.” Guests contribute to the range of perspectives on topics as hot as abortion, war, religious nationalism, and just about any other controversial subject you can imagine.

Our newsfeeds are full of disturbing stories from the war in Ukraine and other places of conflict around the world. The stories less frequently heard are accounts of reconciliation and peacemaking that unfold in the background – past and present. That’s the premise of this Canadian-made podcast that falls under the umbrella of the World Evangelical Alliance.
