Anti-racism resources for schools, organizations, and individuals

Many schools, organizations, and individuals are now seeking to address systemic racism. To spur hard conversations and to help institutions to address the work of justice and inclusion, the In Trust Center has been curating resources from peer organizations.

  1. Association of Theological Schools. Webinar – Black Lives Matter: Where Do We Go From Here? This recorded webinar brings together Black theologians to discuss the collective work needed to address systemic racism.
  2. Center for Congregations. The Congregational Resource Guide. A collection of resources for congregations, including a biblical perspective on racism, ways to become an ally, and how to build community.
  3. National Council of Churches. Anti-Racism Resources. Under the A.C.T. Now to End Racism initiative, the National Council of Churches provides dozens of curated resources to help individuals engage in anti-racism work.
  4. NPR. America Reckons with Racial Injustice. This is a collection of articles, including “Evangelical Christians Grapple with Racism as Sin,”  and live updates on nationwide protests.
  5. Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning. Teaching Justice: Resources for the Times. A collection of resources for teaching about race, diversity, and social justice.
  6. Religious Institute. Preaching and Congregational Resources for Responding to Racism, White Supremacy, and Police Violence. This multifaith organization has curated syllabi, preaching resources, and religious reflections from theologians in response to current events.
  7. BoardSource. Highlighted Research, Articles, and Resources. Diversity, equity, and inclusion as addressed in various videos and articles.
  8. Allies for Change. Resources. A list of anti-oppression and anti-racism resources from social justice educators. It includes a glossary of key terms, videos, and information on how to become an ally.
  9. Associated Church Press. A Moment We Cannot Ignore. A list of statements from religious periodicals in the United States and Canada.
