In Trust was recognized with four “Best of the Christian Press” awards at the Associated Church Press annual awards banquet, held on April 28, 2017, in Chicago.

 

 

In the category of “Best in Class, Special Interest Magazine,” In Trust won an Award of Merit (second place overall), recognizing all issues from 2016. 

In the category of “Magazine theme issue, section or series,” In Trust won an Honorable Mention (third place overall) for the Autumn 2016 issue’s “Eight examples of mergers and partnerships.”

In the category of “Critical Review,” In Trust won an Honorable Mention (third place overall) for “Piety goes to school” a review by Edwin Woodruff Tait of Glenn Miller’s three-book series on the history of theological education (New Year 2016).

Finally, in the category of “Electronic Newsletter,” In Trust won an Honorable Mention (third place overall) for In Trust Now, our monthly e-newsletter that is released on the last business day of each month.

The Associated Church Press, founded in 1916, is North America’s oldest press association for religious periodicals. In Trust publisher Jay Blossom was just elected to a two-year term as the organization's president.
