In Trust Center board election results

The chief executives of voting-eligible member schools of the In Trust Center recently elected one new member and re-elected two continuing members to serve on its board of directors. The heads of 77 institutions cast ballots, representing 40 percent of eligible voting members of the In Trust Center.

Newly elected to a three-year term

Patricia A. Maloney

Principal Engineer, Civil Systems Group, The Aerospace Corporation, Huntsville, Alabama

Maloney is a senior technical and programmatic executive with 30 years’ experience in aerospace, defense, and energy. A Catholic laywoman, she served on the board of Washington Theological Union and chaired the board of Louisville High School, the Catholic school in Woodland Hills, California, from which she graduated. In 2017, Maloney was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award from California State University, Northridge, for her contributions to aerospace and engineering. She also earned an MBA at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Maloney previously served on the board of directors of the In Trust Center from 2011 to 2018.

 

Re-elected to a three-year term

Anne Anderson, C.S.J. 

Board Chair, St. Joseph’s Health System, Hamilton, Ontario

Anderson served as dean of the Faculty of Theology at the University of St. Michael’s College in Toronto from 2001 to 2008 and then as its president and vice-chancellor from 2008 to 2015. She was a member of the Association of Theological Schools Commission on Accrediting from 2004 to 2010 and was board chair of the Commission from 2008 to 2010.

Anderson is a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph. She continues to teach in the Faculty of Theology at St. Michael’s College and to represent the university on the curriculum committee of the board of the Bat Kol Institute in Jerusalem.

 

Byron Klaus

Vice President, ChildHope, Springfield, Missouri?

Klaus was president of the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri, from 1999 to 2015. He previously served for 20 years on the faculty and in the administration of Vanguard University. He has served congregations in California, Texas, and Illinois.

Klaus is currently the vice president of ChildHope, a children’s educational initiative that serves more than 100,000 children daily in the Caribbean and Latin America. He also serves as a consultant for educational and ministry leaders. He is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.
