Now with the development of our new Individual Board Member Performance Evaluation, we are encouraging board members to evaluate their own individual performance.
Individual board member performance is crucial to the overall effectiveness of your board. When an individual accepts an invitation to a school's board, they assume responsibilities for both the institution and the people it serves.
In Trust considers both group and individual board performance assessments a normal part of good board service. Our Individual Board Member Performance Evaluation is designed to help board members determine whether they are meeting their own expectations for board service, as well as the expectations of their fellow board members.

- Focusing forward: goals, priorities, and strategies
- Honing skills: problem analysis and strategic thinking
- Nurturing relationships: communication in and out of the institution
- Building teamwork: attention to systems and structures
