Through the generous support of the Kern Family Foundation, In Trust's member schools are eligible for a limited number of Good Governance 50% Scholarships to fortify their board's capacity to focus and act on the issues that count.
We want you to be able to afford an investment in your board, even while you face and anticipate budget shortfalls. You need exceptional leadership from those who govern, the kind that doesn't fail to anticipate the effects of its decision-making in any one institutional arena - be it enrollment, financial resources, educational programs, or patterns of shared governance - on all these arenas.

A Good Governance 50% Scholarship will cover half the cost of any of our assessment packages, which include the guidance of an expert Governance Mentor and the use of an assessment instrument, such as:
The value of these scholarships ranges from $1,500 up to $4,000 for services that normally cost from $3,000 to $8,000. A Scholarship Price List is available here.
The number of scholarships is limited to 20 in 2009-10.
