Lexington Seminar

The Lexington Seminar: Theological Teaching for the Church's Ministries is a program for theological faculties who are committed to dealing with issues of teaching and learning that are central to their calling as teachers in the church. National Catholic Educational Association

The NCEA bills itself as the largest private professional education organization in the world. It represents 200,000 Roman Catholic educators in the United States, who serve 7.6 million students in Catholic elementary and secondary schools, in religious education programs, in seminaries, and in colleges and universities. Founded in 1904, the NCEA traces its origins to a gathering of eleven seminary rectors who gathered at St. Joseph's Seminary, Dunwoodie, New York, in 1898 to talk about how to attract more, better qualified students to priestly studies.
